The international society of consulting engineers is shocked by the military aggression launched by the Russian government in Ukraine.
We admire and are truly proud of the courage and self-denial of the Ukrainian people on how heroically they are defending their country and land, and also fighting for our future.
Latvian Association of Engineering Consultants calls on colleagues and fellows to show solidarity and support Ukraine with donations, providing shelter and work places to refugees, signing petitions and initiatives, or simply expressing moral support to Ukrainians. All this will help a lot.
We are hoping very much that the Russian people will also be able to show their desire for peace and force Putin’s regime to stop military aggression in Ukraine immediately.
